In 1904 Louis Cartier fulfilled the wish of the famous Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos Dumont: read the time in flight. Thus was born one of the first wristwatches, sealing the friendship between two pioneers. Its round angled dial, its harmonious profile hooks, its apparent screws sign an iconic watch that will be subject to multiple reinterpretations. Santos-Dumont watch, small size, high autonomy quartz movement (~ 6 years). 18-carat rose gold case, pearl crown decorated with a sapphire cabochon. Satin silver dial sunburst effect, Roman numerals. Bluish steel needles in the shape of a sword. Sapphire Crystal Gray alligator leather strap. 18 karat rose gold buckle. Box dimensions: 38 mm x 27.5 mm. Thickness: 7.3mm. Tight up to 3 bars (~ 30 meters).
