Santos - Dumont is the elegance made clock. In 1904, Louis Cartier fulfills the wish of the famous Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos Dumont: read the time in mid-flight. Thus was born one of the first wristwatches, sealing the friendship between two pioneers. Its sphere of rounded angles, its hooks of harmonious profile, its apparent screws sign an iconic clock that will be object of multiple reinterpretations. Santos-Dumont watch, large size, quartz movement. Steel case, 18-carat pink gold bezel, pearly steel crown decorated with a blue synthetic spinel cabochon. Silver satin dial effect sunbeams, Roman numerals. Sword-shaped bluing steel needles. Sapphire crystal Black alligator leather strap, steel buckle. Dimensions of the box: 43.5 mm x 31.4 mm. Thickness: 7.3 mm. Hermetic up to 3 bars (~ 30 meters).
