1904. Louis Cartier fulfills the wish of the famous Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos Dumont: read the time in full flight. Thus was born one of the first wristwatches, sealing the friendship between two pioneers. Its sphere of rounded angles, its hooks of harmonious profile, its apparent screws sign an iconic clock that will be object of multiple reinterpretations. Santos watch, extra large model, mechanical movement chronograph automatic caliber 1904 CH MC. Steel case, ADLC bezel. Heptagonal crown decorated with a faceted synthetic black spinel. Silver satin dial. Needles in the form of black steel sword and luminescent material. Sapphire crystal Rubber strap, additional strap of black alligator leather "" Gomma "", with steel folding clasp. Both belts are equipped with the "QuickSwitch" interchangeable system. Width of the box: 43.3 mm. Thickness: 12.5 mm. Airtight up to 10 bar (~ 100 meters).
