1904. Louis Cartier fulfills the desire of the famous Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos Dumont: to read the time in flight. Thus was born one of the first wristwatches, sealing the friendship between two pioneers. Its dial with rounded angles, its hooks with a harmonious profile, its apparent screws signify an iconic watch that will be the subject of multiple reinterpretations. Santos de Cartier watch, large size, Manufacture self-winding mechanical movement caliber 1847 MC. Steel case, ADLC bezel, steel crown adorned with a faceted synthetic black spinel. Gray dial. Steel needles and luminescent sword-shaped material. Sapphire crystal. Steel bracelet with "SmartLink" size modification system. Additional black rubber strap with interchangeable steel folding clasp. Both the bracelet and the strap are equipped with the interchangeable "QuickSwitch" system. Case width: 39.8 mm. Thickness: 9.38mm. Water-resistant to 10 bars (~ 100 meters).
