OMEGA SPEEDMASTER DARK SIDE OF THE MOON WATCH

OMEGA Speedmaster is a space icon. This 44.25mm model celebrates the history of the Speedmaster aboard the Apollo 8 mission, laser-cut on the main deck and bridges to represent the lunar surface. The near side can be seen through the black anodized aluminum skeleton dial, while the far side can be seen through the caseback. The entire watch is composed of black ceramic and includes a varnished yellow chronograph seconds hand and a laser-engraved tachymeter scale on the bezel that is filled with white enamel. The small seconds subdial (patent pending) also includes a grade 5 titanium hand in the shape of the Saturn V rocket. This three-dimensional shape is obtained by laser turning, while the colors are obtained by white varnish, ablation and blackening by laser. Caseback engravings include "APOLLO 8, DEC 1968", "DARK SIDE OF THE MOON", "WE'LL SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE". The specially decorated movement is the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer caliber 3869. Extendable black rubber bracelet. Water resistance up to 50m.
