Louis Cartier created the Tank watch in 1917. A legend is born. Some years before its commercialization in 1919, General Pershing received the first prototype as a gift. Its unique aesthetic is determined by its hooks concealed under its flat vertical guides with sharp edges. Tank Française watch, medium size, quartz movement. Steel case, octagonal yellow crown decorated with a synthetic spinel cabochon. Silver grained dial. Blued steel sword-shaped hands. Sapphire crystal. Two-color bracelet. Case dimensions: 30mm x 25mm. Thickness: 6.65mm. Water resistant up to 3 bars (~ 30 meters).
