Louis Cartier fulfills the wish of his friend, the famous Brazilian aviator Santos Dumont: read the time in mid-flight. This is how one of the first wristwatches was born. Its geometric shape and its apparent screws sign a watch that will quickly become a watch icon of the Maison. The Saints becomes from then on a classic immune to the passage of time.<br /> Santos-Dumont watch, large size, quartz movement. Steel case, pearly crown decorated with a blue synthetic spinel cabochon. Silver satin dial effect sunbeams, Roman numerals. Sword-shaped bluing steel needles. Sapphire crystal Navy blue alligator strap, steel buckle. Dimensions of the box: 43.5 mm x 31.4 mm. Thickness: 7.3 mm. Hermetic up to 3 bars (~ 30 meters).</div>
